What pretreatment is needed before oil pressing?
Common oil seeds for oil extraction include rapeseed, peanuts, sesame, etc. Different oil seeds have different pretreatments before oil extraction.
Take rapeseed, peanuts and sesame as examples.
Before pressing, rapeseed should be dried and impurities removed to ensure that its moisture content is no more than 12% and impurities are no more than 0.5%.
Note:It is very important to carefully select the rapeseed, as dust and sand will wear out the parts and damage the screw.
Shelling oil-bearing seeds, such as peanuts, can increase the oil yield.
Cotton seeds need to be delinted before oil extraction. After delinting, the oil will not appear black.
After pretreatment, the oil seeds can be fried and the oil can be extracted, or the oil can be directly extracted without frying the seeds.
